Halloween parties are the best! Great decorations — unbelievably
creative costumes — and terrific seasonal colors. All make for a perfect photo opp — that would ultimately evolve into a very clever photo story capturing the event, the people, the ambiance and the fun that everyone had that day.

The second day of our cruise took us to Ketchikan – a very quaint little coastal town that is absolutely perfect for capturing photo memories. Since access to the town is limited to boat and seaplane, the welcome sign faces out over the cruise ship dock.

The deck of a ship is the perfect location to capture the town “from above.” It gives you such a great view that you can zero in on various sections of town, harbor or mountain backdrop. A mix of these will give you some great shots for your cruise memory book. continue reading
This is the day we set sail aboard the Celebrity Infinity from Pier 66 in Seattle. We were able to board early and I spent the first few hours snapping digital photos for the first part of my Alaskan Cruise memory book.
My plan was to get the basic ship photos early before most of the other guests arrived. These shots would become the opening pages of my photo book.

— it’s a city with a good bit of Alaskan charm. Took some photos there that will tell the story in my cruise memory book. Then on to Victoria, British Columbia for a delightful day in this beautiful city with a distinct British flavor. Then back to Seattle. Then home.
