Getting Last Pix for Photo Book

The last couple of cruise days flew by so quickly. We stopped in Juneau for a dayVictoria, B.C. — it’s a city with a good bit of Alaskan charm. Took some photos there that will tell the story in my cruise memory book. Then on to Victoria, British Columbia for a delightful day in this beautiful city with a distinct British flavor. Then back to Seattle. Then home.

Follow along as I discuss how to sort photos in preparation for creating a trip memory book. continue reading

Today we get ready to photograph the Hubbard Glacier. It takes several hours for the cruise ship to arrive in Disenchantment Bay, sailing through Yukatat Bay from the Gulf of Alaska. Start Shooting Digital Photos from the Ship’s Deck.

The deck of a ship is the perfect location to capture the town “from above.” It gives you such a great view that you can zero in on various sections of town, harbor or mountain backdrop. A mix of these will give you some great shots for your cruise memory book. continue reading
